"My husband and I also had the pleasure of listening to Manoelito on a cruise...Serenade of the Seas on 11-08-08...and must have went to listen to him at least five different times. His playing is absolutely wonderful and he was such a pleasure to speak with. I bought both this and his Impressions CDs for my husband for Christmas. What a wonderful reminder of one of our favorite parts of our honeymoon! I hope we have the good fortune of being able to hear Manoelito perform live again one day!"

"I first met Mr. Martins on a cruise ship. He was entertaining in my favorite lounge and I could not go to dinner until I talked to him about pruchasing his CD. He said that he had one with him (which he had delivered to my stateroom)and that I could buy the second, "My Brazil Sweet and Low", at CDBaby. I did just that and have been enjoying his music ever since. At times it sounds as if there are more than one guitar being played and more than one artist doing the playing. These two albums are the best that I have heard in a long time. Thank you Mr. Martins."

"Just returned from a cruise on Royal Caribbean "Radiance of the Seas" and heard this artist perform on several occassions,
Manoelito is the most gifted classical guitarist I have had the pleasure of hearing, he is a very warm and personable performer who includes his audience in his performance by informing them of details about the piece he will play. I would gladly pay the price of admission to any future live performances.
Order his CD, you won't be disappointed."Anna K.
"There are no words that define Manoelito Martins' ability and musical talent. The musical sensibility is notably perceived as early as the first chords. Manoelito is like this in everything in your life. This musical work just gets people to know you better. Your heart is at the tip of your fingers, at the fingering of the guitar!"

"A brilliant piece of work. The artist flows seamlessly between classical, Bossa Nova and contemporary music as if the guitar were an extension of his limbs. A must have for any afficianado of guitar music. I look forward to future releases from this artist."

"Thank you so much for your wonderful music. I and so many others were so blessed to hear the music-magic you shared with us each evening. I grew up with out music but today I love music and the peace, love and romance it conveys. You truly make love to your guitar when you play. You may never quite know just how many peoples hearts and souls you lighten and make better with your gift. I wildly and enjoy “ Guitar Serenade ” and live life with you on my "journey.”

"I met you on our recent cruise “Liberty of the Seas” out of Newark, NJ. I was the bald guy that wanted to hear you play “Romance”. I also told you about Jessy Cook. I really loved your CD. I found four of your CDs on itunes, (I went there 1st because we were still at the Hotel and I could not got of your web site). Ímpressiopns”,“Manoelito By Request”, “My Brazil Sweet & Low” and “Light & LovelySounds”. I see where “Romance” is played a little different than the way you played it on the cruise, that’s the way I tried to learn it. Beautiful. I’ll be watching out for more of your musicin the future.”

Also wanted to thank you for the CD as we were somehow out of sync with your schedule during the last few days of the trip. All the best to you and thanks again. I'll look for that song from carnaval--every once in a while i think i hear part of it in my head."

"I saw you play many times on board on the Oasis ship, this past week. I teach guitar in Rochester NY. Attached is a picture I took on New years eve. First off I wanted to thank you for making my time on the ship so enjoyable. I really loved listening to you play. You inspired me, and reminded me that I have a lot of practicing to do. I was hoping to get whatever arrangements you could send me. I’m going to be buying your CD’s from your website this week. Let me know if you’re ever in NY for a concert, I’d love to come see it! Thanks so much!"

"My husband Bob and I sailed on the Oasis of the Seas on the Jan 7 sailing. We really enjoyed listening to your music. It was one of the highlights of our trip. We really enjoyed the comments you added about the pieces & also that you played a little Bach for us! We purchased 2 of your CDs - both Impressions. One we kept & one we gave to a friend of ours who grew up in Brazil (his parents were missionaries there). My husband and I and our friend both love the CD. Thanks for the beauty and happiness you bring!"

"Your music did for me what music was supposed to do - it brought me great joy. I truly appreciate your talent and your kindness. I started learning the guitar as a teenager and had dreams of being a great guitarist someday, but got too busy with my career as a to make guitar more than an occasional hobby. It was amazing to watch you play."

"My wife and I were on the Radiance of the Seas cruise from Seward to Vancouver. We really appreciated, in particular, your guitar playing in the lounges the 3 times we had the chance to hear it. I spoke to you briefly after the last time, and asked about a work you had played a movement of – you did the two Bouree’s (I think) from one of the Bach Cello Suites (my wife is an accomplished cello player and I played bass and majored in composition so we have a little knowledge of literature). I appreciated very much your music."

"I am enjoying your music right now. Thank you again for playing so beautifully and making our cruise so enjoyable! We really loved listening to you play. You have inspired me to strive on and continue working at guitar! Honestly, if you are ever in Atlanta, you will have a place to stay! God bless you."

"I wanted to thank you again for the lovely music on Oasis. It was always a pleasure! I enjoyed your website, and will be purchasing a few of your albums from CDBaby as Christmas presents for Lori, who really enjoyed listening to you as well. Take care, and if you're ever traveling through Colorado, please let me know. I have been a host to many a wayward musician, and I could probably help you find a gig or two around the area."
Pete S.
"Thanks for having your CD dropped by our stateroom - it is wonderful. It was great listening to you. When you are back in town let me know, we'd love to hear you play."

"I just wanted to tell you again how wonderful it was to meet you and spend time with you on the 8/14-21 alaska cruise - in spite of the vast differences in our backgrounds and styles, it never ceases to amaze me that we can always find common ground in music - i wish i had a better guitar with me and more time with you, but i'm glad for the time we had together - and i am already figuring out ways to add melody lines to more of my playing - so i don't always have to rely on the fiddle or a vocal to carry the tune - i found your website and some videos - that'll be fun to study - i'm also enjoying the cd's - thanks for giving me the newer one. I hope we get to see each other again sometime - maybe you can get me booked on one of your cruises playing and/or teaching blues-based finger-picking styles!"
